Project
One question, answered properly.
Sometimes one decision is sitting in the way of everything else. Project takes that question, works it through properly, and gives you the answer in writing — for a fee agreed before any work begins. You come away knowing where you stand, with the workings in your hands to keep.
One decision, done properly, and off your mind.
- There is a specific decision in front of you, and you would rather get it right than guess.
- You want the numbers run honestly — and by someone paid only by you.
- You would like the answer in writing, so you can read it twice and talk it through at home.
- You want to start somewhere sensible, without committing to more than you are ready for.
Real questions, and what each one takes to answer.
These are the shape of it. If yours is not here, it can still be scoped — the test is whether it can be answered properly and closed.
Can I stop at 60?
What you would need, what the State Age Pension will and will not cover, and how the answer changes if you stop at 62 or 65 instead. For most people the gap between stopping and the state pension starting is the whole question.
Clear the loan, or keep saving?
Both sides costed against each other — the interest saved, the tax position, and what the money would earn instead. The answer is not the same for every income, which is why a general rule is little use here.
Is this loan a fair deal?
What the loan actually costs once the basis of the rate and every upfront fee are counted — not the advertised figure. Two offers that look a percentage point apart can be much further apart than that.
Can we afford it?
The second child, the bigger house, one income instead of two, a move abroad. What it does to the monthly position and what it costs the goals already in motion.
Lump sum, or the pension?
An irreversible choice, usually offered with a deadline. Both routes modelled over a realistic lifespan, with the risks of each set out plainly rather than averaged away.
Where do we actually stand?
A full picture of what you own, what you owe and what it adds up to — written down once, properly, so the next decision starts from facts instead of an estimate.
Four steps, from question to answer.
The question is scoped
A conversation to establish what is actually being asked — often not quite the question you arrived with. The scope, the deliverables and the fee are then set out in writing and agreed before any work starts. The fee is fixed at that point and does not move.
Your position is gathered
Income, commitments, what you own, what you owe, and the dates that matter. Enough to answer the question properly — and no more than that.
The work is done
The analysis, modelled across the scenarios that genuinely change the answer rather than a single projection. You can follow progress in your own portal while it runs.
You get your answer
A written report sent before you are asked to discuss it, so you can read it without anyone in the room. Then a meeting to go through it and answer whatever it raises. You finish with the decision made and the reasoning in your hands.
A fixed fee, scoped and agreed with you in writing before any work begins — sized to the question, since a single calculation and a full retirement review are not the same piece of work. Fee-only: no commissions, ever, and paid only by you.
An answer you can act on, and keep.
Not a verbal opinion in a meeting you half-remember — a written answer with the reasoning shown, so you can weigh it yourself, discuss it at home, and come back to it in a year.
- An engagement letter setting out the scope, the deliverables and the fixed fee.
- A written record of your current position — cash flow and net worth.
- The analysis itself, compared across the scenarios that change the answer.
- Written recommendations, with what to do next and by when.
- Access to your own portal for the length of the engagement, where each deliverable appears as it is completed.
These are yours to keep — and if you later decide to go further, they become the foundation of the plan rather than something to redo.
What it covers, and what comes after.
Project answers the question you brought, in full. That is the whole promise, and it is a real one — a decision that has been sitting on your mind for months, settled properly, with the workings written down.
- It covers the question that was scoped, thoroughly — rather than the whole financial picture, thinly.
- The answer holds for the circumstances it was built on. As life changes — a child, a move, a new job — the question is worth revisiting.
- Once it is delivered, the plan is yours to act on in your own time.
Many people find one answer leads to the next question, and choose to carry on with Build or Grow. That door stays open, and the work already done carries straight across — nothing is repeated and nothing is charged twice.
Whether you carry on is entirely your decision, and it is not raised during the engagement. The work is delivered, the question is answered, and what happens next is left with you. If you come back, it should be because the work was worth it.
The Project client portal — a private demo.
Every engagement runs in its own private portal: the question being answered, the deliverables as they are completed, and the notes from each exchange. The Project demo is a working walkthrough built on fictional sample data.
Because the demo mirrors a real client’s private view, I share it by invitation — that way I know who’s looking, and can answer your questions personally. Send me a quick message and I’ll pass you an access code.
- Message me for an access code — a quick hello on WhatsApp or by email is all it takes.
- Open the portal and choose the Priya Soobramoney sample client.
- Enter the code I send you, and follow a retirement-readiness review from scoping to answer.
By invitation · fictional sample data · nothing you enter is saved.
Bring the question. Leave with the answer.
The fee is agreed in writing before anything begins, so the only thing left to decide is which question matters most.
